Twisters.us is a reference site. You can read every county page without an account, and we have no sign-up of any kind.
Your location stays with you
The "use my location" button asks your browser for your position, works out the nearest counties on your own device and lists them. The position is never sent to us.
What the server sees
Our host keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page and browser) so it can spot attacks and fix faults. We also count page views in total, with nothing that points to a person.
Cookies
We set no tracking cookies. If we add visitor statistics or advertising later, those companies may place cookies, and this page will say so before they do.
Writing to us
If you email hello@twisters.us, we use your address only to answer you. We do not sell or rent anything about our readers.
Children
The site is written for a general audience and is not aimed at children under 13.
Questions or deletion
Ask us to delete a message you sent, or anything else we hold, at hello@twisters.us.
